ECHO provides vouchers to a local motel, when funds are available. Due to high need in the community, we sometimes have a wait list.
Eligibility
Everyone will have to take a 15-minute survey to determine their level of need. Families with a higher level of need will be placed higher on the list.
We cannot assist with emergency lodging when the funds run out. Anyone with open criminal cases, commitments, bench warrants, or other significant charges will have to get those cases resolved before we can help.

If we cannot help you or we are out of funding, please call 2-1-1 to see if there are any other shelters or emergency lodging programs available.
Wisconsin Homeless Management Information System Consumer Notice
This agency participates in the Wisconsin Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), administered by the Institute for Community Alliances (ICA). HMIS collects basic information about participants receiving services from this agency.
HMIS collects basic information about participants receiving services from this agency in order to:
- Establish an accurate count of individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.
- Enable the coordination of services to prevent and resolve experiences of homelessness.
- Fulfill governmental and grant-specific reporting requirements.
- Identify the need to provide more or different services to end homelessness in our community.
